This Privacy Policy explains how uNIKAtna digital fitness d.o.o. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use the uNIKAtna Fitness mobile application (“App”).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law.

  1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION START VERSION

In the first releases (versions below 1.0.0), we do not provide an option of in-App purchases and also do not allow creation of profiles and personal accounts. Therefore we are not collecting or storing any personal data of our users.

We do, however, plan to include it in the following releases (starting with 1.0.0+). The Paragraphs refer to our future plan of action and data protection following the above indicated releases.

  1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

3.1 Data You Provide Directly

  • Name and surname
  • Email address
  • Account login credentials
  • Subscription and billing status
  • Communications sent through the App (messages, inquiries)

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

  • Device information (device type, operating system)
  • App usage data (features used, session duration)
  • Crash logs and performance data
  • IP address (may be anonymized)

3.3 Payment Data

Payments are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing on Android devices and Apple In-App Purchase services on iOS devices.
We do not store or process your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled directly by the respective platform provider in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.

  1. PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your user account
  • To provide access to fitness content and subscriptions
  • To deliver prenatal and postnatal training services
  • To communicate with you regarding your account or support requests
  • To improve App functionality and user experience
  • To comply with legal obligations
  1. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)

We process personal data based on:

  • Performance of a contract (providing App services)
  • User consent (analytics, optional communications)
  • Legal obligations
  • Legitimate interests (App security, performance improvements)
  1. HEALTH-RELATED INFORMATION

The App does not collect medical records or diagnose health conditions.

Any fitness-related data or user activity is processed solely for the purpose of delivering fitness services and does not constitute medical data processing under GDPR Article 9.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App uses third-party services that may collect data:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics

These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them separately.

  1. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • Secure servers
  • Restricted access
  • Data minimization practices

Your data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

  • Account data is retained while your account is active
  • Subscription and billing records are retained as required by law
  • Analytics data is retained in aggregated or anonymized form

You may request deletion of your account at any time.

You have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.

  1. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Some third-party service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

In such cases, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with GDPR.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be published within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
